Day 1

Palma, Majorca

Palma. Think leafy boulevards that echo with the stilettos of stylish shoppers. Tiny tapas bars tucked down narrow sidestreets.

Day 2

At Sea

Day 3

Livorno (for Florence & Pisa)

Get ready to be impressed – this is your gateway to the dazzling riches of Florence and Pisa.

Day 4

Savona (for Genoa and Turin), Italy

Savona’s located on the shores of the Ligurian Sea, at the very top of Italy’s boot. Yachts and cruise liners bob in the narrow harbour, which juggles traditional architecture with modern waterside apartments.

Day 5

Toulon (for Côte d’Azur), France

Fusing French Riviera glam with the feel of a traditional old town, Toulon is your gorgeous gateway to the Côte d’Azur.

Day 6

Marseille, France

Marseille is one of the Med’s most atmospheric ports. Grungy, bohemian buildings sit alongside grand, Art Deco apartments. F

Day 7

Barcelona, Spain

Barcelona is up there with the most famous cities in the world, and for good reason. Sandwiched between the Mediterranean Sea and the Serra de Collserola hills, this Spanish titan promises cutting-edge architecture, trend-setting fashion and art that breaks the mould.

Day 8

Palma, Majorca

Palma. Think leafy boulevards that echo with the stilettos of stylish shoppers. Tiny tapas bars tucked down narrow sidestreets.

Day 9

At Sea

Day 10

Trapani, Sicily

The Greeks, the Romans, the Saracens, the Normans – they all squabbled over the pretty hook-shaped harbour of Trapani. And no wonder.

Day 11

Sorrento, Italy

Despite being surrounded by groves of bitter lemons, Sorrento is one of Italy’s sweetest cities. Red-roofed buildings, balconied apartments and yawning piazzas characterise the centre of town.

Day 12

Civitaveccia (for Rome), Italy

Few cities on earth have the power to bowl you over quite like Rome. Discover a city packed with historical wonder, artistic splendour and culinary temptation at every turn. Not to mention enough designer shops to keep you browsing for a year.

Day 13

Ajaccio, Corsica

Rugged peaks, emerald countryside, twinkling blue waters – Corsica’s been plucked from the prettiest postcard. Rising up from one of the most beautiful gulfs in the world is Ajaccio, a town oozing charm. An impressive place in its own right, it’s also your gateway to the sensational scenery and sleepy little towns that this sun-soaked isle is famous for. One word of advice – take plenty of spare batteries for your camera.

Day 14

Palamos, Spain

Fringed with a ribbon of sun-kissed sands, Palamos started life as a tiny fishing village. The legacy of fishing continues today with the day’s catch sold off to the highest bidder on the quayside every afternoon. Head down to the beach, or leave the town behind for a day of discovery.

Day 15

Palma, Majorca

Palma. Think leafy boulevards that echo with the stilettos of stylish shoppers. Tiny tapas bars tucked down narrow sidestreets.
