Day 3

Copenhagen, Denmark

The largest city in Scandinavia, capital of Denmark for over 600 years and home to the world’s oldest monarchy, Copenhagen is the most charming of Baltic cities. Beautiful parks and gardens, attractive 17th and 18th century buildings, grand castles and the elegant Amalienborg Palace – home to the reigning Queen Margrethe II, grace the city that is laced with a labyrinth of winding canals. Cafes and restaurants spill out of brightly coloured townhouses onto the cobblestone streets in historic Nyhavn. The atmospheric waterfront area is a popular meeting place along with the world’s oldest entertainment park Tivoli Gardens.

Day 4

Warnemünde, Germany

Day 5

Rønne, Bornholm, Denmark

Nestled nearer to Sweden than Denmark, Bornholm has been under Danish rule since 1522. Once an important Baltic trading port, today the island is known for its scenic beauty and historic Old Town. Be sure to enjoy a leisurely stroll in the Gamle Stan (Old Town) with its cobbled streets and yellow and orange cross-timbered houses.

Day 6

Visby, Gotland, Sweden

Beautiful Visby is a stunning sight as you sail into Gotland, its Cathedral, stone building rooftops and the old city wall are the ports stunning backdrop. Just a short walk from the ship, you can follow the old city wall round to the original entrance into the city, dating back to the 12th Century, much of the original town has survived, and wandering its UNESCO World Heritage streets is the perfect way to spend your day on shore.

Day 7

Klaipėda, Lithuania

As Lithuania’s oldest city, Klaipeda dates back to the 7th century and there is history crammed into every nook and cranny of the city. Much of the historic centre does not exist anymore, although the Prussian influences are still clearly visible throughout the city especially in the town square and adjoining streets.
