The resort`s famous strip, Old Town and Fisherman`s Beach are also readily accessible, either on foot, or by hopping on the mini train which leaves regularly from outside Brisa Sol.
The award winning Dom Jose Beach Hotel is located directly on Quarteira`s sea front with views over the long, sandy beach and seafront promenade, which is acessible directly from the hotel swimming pool.

There is a sprinkling of bars and restaurants within easy reach and it`s a fairly short downhill walk to the resort centre and beach, though the hotel runs a free shuttle service to the beach and centre several times a day for those who prefer.

Pestana Alvor Praia is perched on a cliff offering stunning views over Tres Irmaos Beach to the Atlantic beyond. There is the option of steps or an elevator down to the beach and the main resort is around 20 minutes walk away, so it is not isolated, despite its peaceful, clifftop location.
Pestana Dom Joao II is superbly located with direct access through its very pleasant, well kept poolside gardens, to the glorious Alvor Beach. From there a pleasant walk of around 10 minutes along the beachside boardwalk will take you to the bustling centre of Alvor.
The classy Vila Gale Ampalius is superbly located, with Vilamoura's excellent beach virtually on the doorstep and the impressive marina, surrounded by elegant cafes, lively bars, international restaurants and all manner of shops, just a few minutes walk away.
Located in Praia da Gale, which is a quiet area a short taxi ride from the main resort of Albufeira, Vila Gale Atlantico is just a few minutes stroll from a long, sandy beach. There are a few beach bars & restaurants nearby and some very pleasant sea front walks to be had, so this is an ideal getaway destination for those who like to relax. The hotel has a good range of facilities.
The Vila Galé Cerro Alagoa Hotel is located conveniently close to a selection of restaurants, a few bars and large commercial centre. Albufeira`s famous `strip` is a leisurely downhill walk of around 15 minutes away and Fisherman`s Beach and the Old Town are a similar distance in the opposite direction. Alternatively, the mini train that links all the main areas and beaches of the resort leaves from just next door and is a convenient, low cost way to get around.
